The successful candidate will have strong project planning skills supplemented with previous industrial manufacturing experience in a unionized industrial environment.
This position would be of interest to individuals who have a bachelors degree, Engineers; Technologists; Red Seal Journeymen, coupled with 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will also possess strong communications skills, be a people-person, have strong computer skills, be extremely well-organized and understand equipment technologies, limitations and their effect on safety, quality, productivity and cost.
The Asset Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for administrating and developing plans and budgets for an assigned asset. They will effectively manage technical documentation and prepare, monitor and evaluate results of equipment inspection for the assigned asset. They will develop plans for maintenance downturns, major plant shutdowns and CAPEX repair projects for assets. In addition to defining and optimizing spare parts levels for the assigned asset and effectively manage external resources while keeping in the budget they design. Finally they will monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and metrics for assigned assets.

EVRAZ North America has an opening for a Director of Large Diameter Pipe Sales Canada.
Reporting to the Vice President Large Diameter Sales, the Director is responsible for presenting and selling large diameter line pipe for all EVRAZ Tubular Mills in North America, in addition to maintaining EVRAZ’s current client and potential client relationships including cold calling and development of leads through any means possible in the Canada.
Furthermore the successful candidate will prepare a variety of status reports such as major pipeline project status, competitive pricing, competitive mill schedules, major customer organization changes etc. This individual will be responsible for preparing action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the call schedules to be made.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or masters in Business Administration or Engineering coupled with 7-10 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing sales role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
You must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and be able to deal with opposing opinions. Have attention to detail and accuracy as well as being well organized. You should have the ability to work in a fast pace environment with a variety of people. Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills with the ability to multi-task, while maintaining accuracy and functionality.

EVRAZ North America has an opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor in our Calgary Tubular Facility.
This position would be of interest to Electrical Engineers, Electrical or Electronics Technologists, Red Seal Journeymen Electricians and individuals who have a bachelor’s degree coupled with 5 years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The successful candidate will also possess strong leadership skills, good communications skills, be a team oriented person with good people skills, have good computer skills and be well-organized.
Reporting to the General Supervisor Calgary Maintenance, the Electrical Supervisors will be responsible for electrical maintenance related activities for an assigned work area. They will be responsible for the effective management and scheduling of their assigned work group. They will control attendance and adherence to working hours and approve overtime hours for their assigned work group. They will ensure the quality of the work performed by their assigned work group as well as external contractors. They will create, plan and prioritize Corrective Work Orders. They will be the primary point of contact for Operations on electrical maintenance issues. They will collaborate with the Asset Maintenance Coordinator and Operations about planned maintenance activities.

The incumbent is responsible for interaction with current and potential EVRAZ customers, preparing reports and presentations in regards to tubular products, assisting Sales with customer complaints and preparing / conducting training seminars for customers and internal personnel.
The candidate must possess good analytical and communication skills. In addition, they must have good inter-personal skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

The incumbent is responsible for developing and implementing overall operational strategies throughout the plant including process, equipment and manufacturing improvements, maximizing plant throughput and creating synergies between and within facilities. The incumbent will work with the VP / GM and collaborate with the Divisional Director of Operational Excellence to ensure the exchange of best practices.
The candidate must possess good problem solving and communication skills as well as being able to think on their feet. In addition they must have good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and Lean Manufacturing software.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years in a manufacturing environment in an engineering, lean manufacturing, strategic operational role as well as a degree in Engineering, Accounting, Project Management or Organizational Development or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the steel industry is considered an asset. Strong facilitation and training skills are a must. Organizational skills, conceptual thinking and the ability to plan and implement project are considered assets.

The Maintenance Superintendent will be responsible for managing the overall maintenance organization at our Calgary, Red Deer, and Camrose Alberta facilities. This position would be of interest to individuals who have a bachelors degree, engineering discipline is preferred, coupled with 10+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management at a manufacturing site preferably steel utilizing a combination of technical, managerial and financial expertise.

EVRAZ North America has an opening for an Occupational Health and Safety Nurse at our Calgary Tubular facility.
The successful candidate will enter a new position where our expectations are high and our experience is limited.
You will perform post-offer and non-work related fitness for duty evaluations, establish workplace injury treatment protocols, provide direct treatment and facilitate external referrals when appropriate.
You will develop, implement and maintain confidential personal and regulatory employee health records, do periodic work-related medical exams and testing and provide timely advice to the operations and safety departments when our programs are not adequately protecting our workers.
This position will be our primary contact with the Alberta Workers’ Compensation Board and be responsible to report work-related injuries and illnesses as well as to follow up with the worker’s medical providers to ensure that we safely and quickly return workers to pre-injury health.
The successful candidates will be joining another nurse in our Canadian operations and we expect them to collaborate on developing and delivering healthy living programs to improve the overall health of our employees.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with OHN certification and possess 3-5 years of recently acquired experience in Occupational Health Nursing - equivalencies will be considered.

The Analyst will elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis. He / she will critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs. The Analyst will proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: Functional requirements, business requirements, use cases, screen and interface designs. Additional duties may include custom software development and report creation.
Experience in Project Management and Business Intelligence would be beneficial. The role of the Manager, IT, Commercial Front End and Supply Chain, is to manage the tactical planning and day-to-day operations of the IT activities relating to commercial activities and supply chain.
The IT Manager will report into the Director, IT Applications and will lead all aspects of IT systems in the area of supply chain, primarily focused on the quote-to-cash process and related processes. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 - 3 years of related experiences along with a degree from a recognized institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of your CRSP (Canadian Registered Safety Professional) will be considered an asset.

EVRAZ North America has an opening for a Senior Metallurgical Technologist / Metallurgical Technologist at the Research and Development Regina facility.
He / she will possess a Materials or Mechanical Technology Diploma with 1 - 5 years of experience or the equivalent.
A successful candidate will be well versed in more than one of the following:- Specialized testing equipment for mechanical testing (e.g. impact, tensile, hardness, ring expansion, collapse, structural tensile testing, bend and fatigue).
- Non-destructive analysis methods (e.g. welding (e.g. GMAW, SAW).
- Microstructural assessment (e.g. optical, image analysis, electron, EDX, FIB).
- Corrosion testing (e.g. pH, SSC, HIC).
- Thermal mechanical simulation, and software for data analysis and collection.
This individual will be able to take direction from research engineers when required, and be able to train both junior technologist and engineering co-op students.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating and tracking/tracing reports for inbound and outbound freight. They will investigate, document, and file claims for lost and damaged freight with all transportation providers.
