Executive Team
- Michael T. Rehwinkel – President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Rehwinkel joined EVRAZ North America as President and Chief Executive Officer in February 2010. With more than 30 years of industrial manufacturing experience, he brings a wealth of commercial expertise to his position at EVRAZ. Mr. Rehwinkel has held senior management positions in operations, finance, and sales and, most recently in his career, executive positions at Georgia-Pacific LLC, including senior vice president of the company’s packaging business and president of GP Wood Products. Mr. Rehwinkel holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from William Carey University and completed Duke University’s Advanced Management Program.
- Robert A. Simon - Executive Vice President, Tubular Products Group
Mr. Simon has been with the company since 1992, starting as an Industrial Engineer. He later served as Manager of Business Processes, Manager of Environmental Services and Operations, and Vice President and General Manager of the Rocky Mountain Steel mill. Previously, Mr. Simon was Plant Manager for Matthews International and Oregon Brass Works. Mr. Simon is a graduate of West Virginia University.
- Conrad Winkler – Executive Vice President, Long Products Group
Mr. Winkler joined EVRAZ in 2011 from the Chicago office of Booz & Company, a global management consulting firm. Prior to his 15 1/2 years with Booz, Mr. Winkler served 5 years in the US Navy on nuclear submarines. Mr. Winkler is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
- Kim Fields – Executive Vice President, Flat Products Group
Ms. Fields joined EVRAZ in 2011. Before coming to EVRAZ, she served as General Manager, Industrials for General Electric Energy. Prior to that, Ms. Fields also held leadership positions in operations, business development and engineering with Alcoa, Metalspectrum and Owens Corning. Ms. Fields holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Business Administration from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
- Glenda Minor - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Minor joined EVRAZ North America as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2010. Previously, she served as Vice President of Finance and Controller of global automotive supplier, Visteon Corporation. Before joining Visteon in 2000, Ms. Minor was finance director for product development finance at DaimlerChrysler, a position she held since 1996. She began her career with management positions at General Motors and General Dynamics Corporation. Ms. Minor holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Southern University in Louisiana, and a Masters in Business Administration from Michigan State University.
- Jennifer R. Murray - Senior Vice President, Organization & Change Management
Ms. Murray joined the company in 1997 as Assistant Corporate Controller, Financial Systems. She later served as Director of Administration, and Vice President Administration and Corporate Secretary. Prior experience includes financial management and accounting positions at Newell Company and Republic Steel. Ms. Murray is a graduate of Grove City College.
- Jerry Reed - Senior Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Reed brings an array of experience to EVRAZ, having a 20-year career in the metals industry. He previously worked for Century Aluminum Company and Alcoa where he held commercial management, business development and strategic marketing leadership positions. Mr. Reed has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business & Economics from Emory & Henry College and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
- Jacob Lubbe – Senior Vice President, Manufacturing Development and Supply Chain
Mr. Lubbe joined EVRAZ in 2010. He has extensive experience within the steelmaking industry, most recently as Plant Manager at Charter Steel in Cleveland, Ohio. Prior to that, Mr. Lubbe held various management positions within Gerdau Ameristeel. He has a bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering (Extractive) from the University of Potchefstroom in South Africa, and a mini-Masters in Business Administration from Rutgers University.
- John Zanieski - President, EVRAZ Recycling in North America
Mr. Zanieski joined EVRAZ in 2011. He brings more than 25 years of progressive professional experience with both public and private companies, most recently serving as General Manager and Vice President, West Coast Operations for Precision Castparts Corporation. Prior to that, Mr. Zanieski was with Tyco Electrical and Metal Products as the Vice President, Global Supply Chain. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and political science from Yale University and Masters in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
