Evraz North America, a specialty and commodity steel manufacturer with a capacity of five million tons across eight facilities in the U.S. and Canada, has hired Glenda Minor as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. An executive with more than 30 years of finance and internal audit experience in the manufacturing industry, Minor will lead the finance and IT functions of the North American organization.

“Glenda’s wide range of finance and accounting experience within multinational manufacturing organizations will benefit our company as we align our internal operations to support the company’s new product line structure,” said Mike Rehwinkel, Evraz North America President and CEO.

Minor joins Evraz from Visteon Corporation, where she served as Vice President, Finance and Controller of the global automotive supplier. While CFO of Visteon in Europe, she spearheaded the transformation of the finance function that resulted in measurable financial and organizational improvement. She also spent more than 20 years in various finance and audit roles at GM, General Dynamics and DaimlerChysler.

Minor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Southern University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Michigan State University. She will work at the Evraz North America headquarters in Portland, OR.
