Our Portland mill (formerly known as Columbia Structural Tubing) is the Northwest’s sole producer of structural steel tubing with an annual capacity of up to 150,000 tons. It delivers to a broad regional market, including British Columbia and the western United States.

We utilize cutting-edge equipment to produce high-quality hollow structural steel in a wide variety of sizes ranging from 2.5 to 10 inch square and 3 x 2 to 12 x 8 inch rectangular. The facility has the largest slitting line in the western U.S., capable of slitting steel up to .625” thick and 110” wide.

The functionality of these products is almost endless—they can be used for structural support, safety and ornamental tubing for buildings, bridges and highways, plus an extensive range of applications in industrial, construction, transport and agricultural equipment.

Products

For added customer convenience, EVRAZ Portland Structural Tubing also has in-line painting equipment which produces Red-E-Prime® - PDF, a degreased and pre-primed tubing that’s pre-cleaned and ready to paint. By eliminating the need to clean or prime materials, Red-E-Prime can save manufacturers and fabricators significant time and money.
